Check out our top 3 picks to celebrate your grad’s milestone in a meaningful way.

1. The wonder years
Host a family-only evening celebrating your grad’s childhood. What brought joy to your son or daughter when they were little? Did they build pillow and blanket forts? Did they play a particular sport, board game or video game? Which song or movie was played on repeat during those days? What was their favorite meal? … favorite dessert? Recreate their childhood and revisit some of the wholesome memories you’ve shared over the years. Watch home videos and look through family photo albums. There’s nothing like a healthy dose of nostalgia.
2. Graduation gift scavenger hunt 🕵️♂️
Create an elaborate scavenger hunt and spread clues around the house. Attach the clues to photos of your grad over the years. This way, as they find each clue, you can reminisce together about the moments captured in each photo. Have each clue lead to a graduation gift. The gifts can be small, but meaningful or useful. We like the idea of gift baskets inspired by each room. For example, in the laundry room you could hide a gift basket filled with laundry detergent, dryer sheets, a compact garment steamer, and a jar of quarters. These gift baskets will help fill their dorm room (or apartment) with the necessities they’ll need as they venture out on their own.
3. Pot houseplants together
Bring family and friends together by booking a virtual graduation party with Le Petit Garden. A houseplant is the perfect house-warming gift for your grad and a long-lasting keepsake from your virtual gathering. Each guest will make their own potting mix to replicate their plant’s native habitat as they receive live instruction from our dedicated workshop Guide. And you know we love when the experience doubles as the gift!
